Hello

The GC Research Team led by Dr John Mervyn-Smith is embarking on a new project with our Research Partner -  King's College London.

This is Phase One of the project, focused on Female Leadership and Burnout.

The aim is to better understand how Human Energy for Impact fluctuates, and how different GC Index proclivities may influence vulnerability to burnout.

Dr John is being supported by Kings College MSc Jessica Winfield and they are initially looking for 30 female GCologists to take part in a series of small, confidential focus groups through April.

Each focus group will centre on one of The GC Index proclivities, and we are looking for female GCologists for each session where that proclivity is either their highest or they have a score of 7+, to take part in a one-hour session with up to six participants, enabling open, honest peer discussion.

This is a chance to:

  • Contribute to meaningful, evidence-based research
  • Reflect on your own energy and impact
  • Connect with like-minded leaders

Spaces are limited to 6 participants in each session and will go quickly, so if you’re interested, please book onto the session that fits your proclivity using the links to each session below.

Session dates and links to book your space:

If you have any questions, you can contact Dr. John and Jessica directly.

You can also see a short video from Jessica here explaining more about the research.

Finally one of our GCologists Lucy Turner from GC Partner The Game Changer Collective will also be supporting Dr John and Jessica in this research project.

Lucy Turner says:

"Imagine a world where we can support female leaders by better understanding how their GC Index leadership profiles interplays with their physiological state. This is our vision and to bring it to life we need your help!"

We’ll be sharing a broader survey with the whole community in the coming weeks as a Phase Two, but this first phase is about going deeper.

Thanks to the GC Research Team and Kings College London for continuing to push the boundaries in researching the Psychology and Dynamics of Human Energy.

Friday well!

Nathan
