Hello

One of the greatest strengths of our community is the way we collaborate to create meaningful resources that help individuals and teams make a real impact.

This week, we are excited to showcase a brilliant new template developed by GCologist Ben Rayner from GC Partner Strategic Sherpas.

Introducing the 'How Might We Sherpas Framework' – a powerful framework that leverages The GC Index, ChatGCT, GC Index profiles to help individuals better understand their own energy for impact plus their leader, their colleagues and how they can work together for maximum impact.

The Template: How Might We Sherpas Framework

Objective

After completing a GC Index profile review, how do we open the conversation further with the individual, their boss or broader team?

Origin

Some might be more familiar with the nickname (Ben's Template), which has gathered momentum! It is now officially known as the 'How Might We Sherpas Framework'.

This framework is for individuals who want to better understand how their energy can be both a 'potential asset' and a 'potential liability'.

It has been developed by expanding on a consulting framework created by Ben Rayner, who leads Strategic Sherpas and leveraging The GC Index "So Whats? Template" that is available to GCologists in the Resources Section of the GC Platform.

The framework is built on a critical question: How Might We…?

  • How – Practical and actionable.
  • Might – Acknowledges possibilities but not certainty.
  • We – Emphasises collective effort and shared success.

This is a non-threatening, critical question that encourages expansive and practical responses from teams or individuals. Research shows that 'why questions' often lead to defensive, socially acceptable answers, whereas framing the question in the 'how' allows for more open and constructive discussions. 'Might' introduces possibility, and 'we' fosters a sense of unity and shared purpose.

For the Community

For GCologists and those eager to develop personally, this framework provides an opportunity to express how they want to make an impact both individually and as part of a team. It allows individuals to define success in the context of leadership and collaboration, while also exploring how proclivities can serve as both 'potential assets' and 'potential liabilities' —something to be both leveraged and managed effectively.

Ben (Play Maker/Game Changer) says: "I believe The GC Index has even far more reaching possibilities and I invite our global community to message me with any ideas you may have about How might we expand this framework? - to make us better GCologists and our clients better versions of themselves."

Building Relationships with ChatGCT

We recognise that everyone is at different stages of development when it comes to using LLMs (Large Language Models like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini etc.).

That’s why this framework also includes an example ChatGCT prompt at the back of the document. This will help individuals frame how they can build relationships by recognising key collaboration and friction points.

Get the Template & Join the Conversation

Ben has created an example of the full document here  and he has also been kind enough to create a template that other GC Partners can use and adopt their own content and branding. You can download the customisable template here

This is a fantastic example of how our global GC Community continues to collaborate and contribute to each other’s success

Upcoming Session: What You Need to Tell Your Clients

Of course if you attended one of my sessions for GC Partners this month titled "What you need to tell your clients before everyone else does..." you would have seen "Ben's Template" already as it was one of the examples I shared.

These sessions were so impactful I am running two more in March where I share other examples of how GC Partners are diving into key messages and strategies to engage their clients leveraging The GC Index

So if you didn't attend this month, the next two sessions are on March 4th and 11th. You can book into one of the sessions via the button below.

So in closing another huge thank you to Ben Rayner for sharing this resource with the community we hope you like it!

Let’s continue to collaborate, explore the art of the possible, and help individuals, teams and organisations make the impact they aspire to!

How Might We make 2025 our best year yet?

Do good, be great.
