Hello
As you know, we’re pretty excited about this… and you’re going to be hearing a lot more about it over the next couple of weeks!
On Friday, 1st August 2025, we’re officially launching our new book:
'The Psychology and Dynamics of Human Energy – How Aligning Energy to Impact Can Transform the Workplace'
Written by Dr. John Mervyn-Smith, Co-Creator of The GC Index®, and brought to life with contributions from 15 brilliant GCologists from across our global community, this book really is the most comprehensive dive yet into how our unique ‘Energy for Impact’ shapes teams, leaders, and organisations.

|
This book really captures over a decade of belief, research and practice from across our community and we’d love as many of you as possible to join us, celebrate together, and help us take it out into the world.
Save the date: Friday, 1st August.
And if you’d like to get ahead, you can pre-order now:
Let’s get ready to share it widely!

The 19th European Congress of Psychology
|
The 19th European Congress of Psychology, was hosted earlier this month by the Cyprus Psychologists' Association, in Paphos, Cyprus.
Practitioners, academics, researchers, and students from Europe and beyond attended the conference to exchange ideas, contributions, and best practices.
It was certainly hot in Pathos - for both physical temperature and psychological innovation!
Dr John and Nigel Evans had their paper scheduled in the track covering multi-national organisation change. The paper An Organimetric Approach to Organisational Transformation and Growth showed how the GCI index is used to promote positive development in Education, Work and Health related Organisations.
With contributions from Tokyo, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Manchester, this congress stream brought together world class speakers to engage audiences in a high-quality interaction connecting academic scholars and industry professionals
|
Nigel Evans, Psychologist at Large reflected, "Cyprus has its long history of intercultural discovery, and Paphos held up to that legacy. It provided us with a unique context to hold wider psychological dialogues, so important to all in the betterment of our future lives".
From attendee feedback the 19th European Congress of Psychology succeeded in its aim to advance the field and to showcase applied psychology's usefulness to the world.
The GC Index was proud to be involved and keep pushing the boundaries!!
Let's keep making an impact together!
Do good, be great.
Nathan
