One of the most common questions I hear from leaders and GCologists alike is this:

“How do we know if our team development is actually working?”

This GCI Friday, I’m excited to introduce a new GC Index product that helps answer exactly that — not just once, but again and again.

A powerful, repeatable team diagnostic  that enables teams to measure, track and amplify their impact over time.

Why this? Why now?

Because high performing teams are the ones that align their individual and collective impact to what matters most — and do so consistently.

But the truth is:

That’s where the GC Team Impact Diagnostic comes in.

I will be running 2 x 45 minute sessions introducing the GC Team Impact Diagnostic on the 1st and 3rd of July 2025.

How it works:

The GC Team Impact Diagnostic takes less than 5-minutes to complete.

Each team member anonymously scores 15 items — 3 for each GC Index proclivity — across two dimensions:

1. How important is this to me right now, in this team?
2. How well are we, as a team, doing this at the moment?

When we aggregate the answers, we get a rich snapshot report of where the team believes its energy is most needed — and whether it’s currently being applied effectively.

It gives us three key things:

• Clarity on what matters most
• Focus on the gaps between intention and action
• A repeatable framework for measuring team progress over time

Why does this matter?

Because it’s one thing to talk about team impact…It’s another thing to track it — to know if all the energy, effort and intention is actually moving the needle.

Whether it’s used:
