Hello

This week I want to talk about impactful relationships and how The GC Index can help us strengthen them.

For years in workshops, GCologists have run an exercise called My Impactful Relationships. The idea is simple but powerful:

1. Identify your top three impactful relationships, not necessarily your friends, your boss, nor the people you like most, but those relationships you must get right to achieve your objectives.

2. Pick one, sit down with that person, and explore the below questions through the lens of your GC Index profiles :

  • Why is this an impactful relationship?
  • Where will we add value to each other?
  • Where will we clash?
  • Where do we need to cut each other some slack?
  • What will happen if we don’t get this right?

This approach allows people to understand where they complement and where they frustrate each other all without it feeling personal and making the relationship more impactful!

Now let's add some AI to the mix

Now, with ChatGCT, you don’t have to wait for a workshop. You can use the '@Firstname surname' search function for colleagues who’ve completed The GC Index (Ask us if you don't know how) and punch in the questions, and instantly get a baseline on:

•    How you’ll complement each other
•    Where you may frustrate each other
•    Tips for developing and sustaining an impactful relationship

It’s practical, instantly at your fingertips, and keeps the focus on impact rather than the personality frustrations that can get in the way.

Above is an example of the output for me and Nicole based on our GC Index Profiles.

Why not give it a try today? Pick one of your impactful relationships, insert yours and their GC Index Profile scores, run the questions through ChatGCT, and start making your relationships more impactful. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Finally, of course, don’t forget you can also do this live with ChatGCT  in your 1-2-1 Coaching and Team Workshops. It’s a brilliant way leverage The GC Index to instantly drive more impactful relationships in teams and across organisations.

Every day we are polishing!
